Proper Dirty's launch party took place on June 8th, 2019. The crew transformed a 3,000 sqft warehouse to a playground that resembled the theme of the clothing line's debut collection - Emotions. Each corner of the space resembled a different emotion. In one corner, a Harley Davidson motorcycle and boxing bag were set up to portray anger. Attendees had the opportunity to write something that boiled them up on the punching bag, and let their anger subside. In a pitch black corner there were trickling blue lights falling from the ceiling, which resembled rain. Alongside LED benches and tables that were lit up in blue, the clothes and aroma in this area depicted agony. Beside this dark room was another area covered with rose petals, candles, flowers and a neon sign on the wall. Love could be felt with the setting in this corner. Lastly, a Photo Booth was set up in another room were a lot of the guests were waiting to use. In the same room were colourful balloons, and a cotton candy cart with Proper Dirty labeled cotton candy jars. The room here was filled with laughter and smiles, matching the last emotion in the collection - Happiness. The event included talented artists such as Jenavieve Louie who displayed her art alongside one of the walls. Her depictions of celebrities such as Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, and Asap Rocky were adored by everyone in attendance. Sin Birds dance group brought the energy levels high as they preformed several times throughout the night, incorporating different sounds and movement to match each of the different emotions inside the space. The night was filled with sounds by DJ Kal Capone who kept the crowd moving throughout the night.
